One of the most common New Years' resolutions is to clean, organize and declutter. Swaptree can help you get rid of your stuff - of course you'll get stuff in return so your resolution may be short lived.

Swaptree epitomizes the saying that one man's trash is another man's treasure. It's an online service to trade your family's used books, movies, music and games and get something you or your kids really want.

The first important thing to know is that Swaptree is a free service. Make a list of what you want to get rid of and list it on Swaptree. Using computer algorithims, you'll be provided a list of all the items you can trade your stuff for. Choose what you'd like and use Swaptree's postage calculator to determine how much postage you'll need to send your item for swapping. You can even use your credit card to print out the postage so you can skip standing in line at the post office.

We're already eyeing our shelves to see what has outlived its stay. One more way to reduce, reuse and recycle. Has anyone tried Swaptree and can give us their review?
