Splatter Paint: It's Back And Easy To Do!

Splatter Paint: It's Back And Easy To Do!

When I was younger splatter painting was all the rage. The 80's were a good time for it, and although it seems everything that once was old is now new again, I might be on board with this one coming back — especially for use in children's spaces.

I saw this red desk project on This Old House and although I used to simply splatter paint with craft paints and a toothbrush, their technique is one that's meant to last a little longer and be done in a more professional manner.

It's still kid friendly and could probably still be done with a toothbrush. Do I have to say used or is that implied? Please don't use your daily scrubbers! This new twist on an old classic is making a come back and it's playful without a hint of painter's tape or need to be exact.
